Growing up, I learned the value of a dollar, a principle I carry with me today. My experience as Secretary and Treasurer for both the Hartford Career Firefighters Local 2905 and the Professional Firefighters of Vermont taught me the weight of financial oversight. I successfully managed our union funds, ensuring every dollar was tracked and every expenditure was necessary.
Transparency
Currently serving on the pension investment commission and retirement board, I view fiduciary loyalty as a sacred trust. To me, transparency isn't optional—it is a requirement. As your legislator, I will demand that every public dollar spent is tied to clear, measurable results because this budget is not government money; it is your hard-earned tax money.
Accountability & Action
I have witnessed too many instances where tax dollars disappear into projects with no tangible return. Budgetary waste is an issue at every level of government, and I am fully prepared to challenge inefficiencies and hold decision-makers accountable for how your money is used in the State House.
