As a firefighter, I have always treated everyone with dignity and respect, no matter what their issues were, without prejudice. We are all equals and should always be treated as such. I have always supported, and will fight for, a system that is fair and equal to all. I will push for a tax system that promotes a fair share for all; the working class should never be burdened. As a firefighter/paramedic, I never hesitated to help people, regardless of who they were.  Diversity is paramount to our success and ensuring all voices are heard and understood is a cornerstone as to who I am. As a legislator, hearing from all sides and all views leads to more successful outcomes. As a Union Leader who has spent over 25 years negotiating contracts, I have found that bring all sides to the table is vital to getting a successful outcome.
